My first listen to this album brought me back to my teenage years when I first introduced myself to Thrash Metal. Bane of Bedlam describe themselves as death thrash and I would tend to agree with that description. The four piece outfit featuring the vocals from Brad Parker I can only assume the guitarist is his brother ( apologies if not ) Chris Parker, Glen Trayhern on drums finally Nick Walker on bass, formally of Brisbane now calling Melbourne home...

Australia's Bane Of Bedlam have been around for a bit over five years now and this is their first full length album, after an EP called The Last Testament came out in 2011. Their style of thrash is very teutonic in nature and reminiscent of Kreator and Sodom and a lot of Poland's Vader as well. The music is very dark, very angry and at points bordering on a near "death" experience, incorporating some deathy vocal growlings into the mix...
